Electric Scooters

Scooters

Scooters are a good option of transportation. They are not as expensive as a car, nor as dangerous as a motorcycle. They are stylish, and easy and comfortable to drive. And of course, they use less gas than either cars or motorcycles. In fact, scooters have several advantages over both cars and motorcycles.

Scooters are obviously cheaper than cars. Although they, of course, lack the storage capacity of cars, they make up for it with the ability to drive between cars in heavy traffic. In fact, after a person has been using a scooter for some time, it’s very difficult for him or her to get used to traffic when driving a car. In addition, scooters are more fun to operate than cars, although I guess that depends on each person’s tastes. You’ll definitely enjoy a scooter better if you like to feel the air in your head, look at your surroundings better, and pull over whenever you want. Another important advantage of scooters is that they are much, much easier to park than cars. This is specially useful in very urban areas where parking is extremely rare.

Compared to motorcycles, scooters are much easier to ride. Specially if you don’t plan to go on highways at 150 miles per hour and make turns where your knee is 2 inches from the ground. In fact, scooters are actually easier to turn, because they have smaller wheels. In addition, they give you a seating position which is more comfortable than holding your legs apart, like you would do in a motorcycle, and if you’re a woman, you can even wear a dress or a skirt while riding. Finally, they give you more protection from road debris and motor parts, due to the use of extensive body panels that keep you safe.

As if this weren’t enough, as of late, there has been a tendency in making scooters run on electricity rather than on gas. This is a great feature, and you can forget about paying gas anymore. You can also have the satisfaction of helping the environment by using a scooter that doesn’t emit carbon emissions. A fully charged scooter can go for several miles, and it’s normally more than enough for every day use. If you take it to work and have the opportunity of charging it there, you can also use it for some nocturnal escapade.

So, as you can see, there are several advantages to scooters. I’ve had one for several years and I recommend them greatly.
