Pink And Brown Wedding Invitations

Weddings are one of the most important days in most (if not all) women’s lives. Some of them dream about it since they are little girls. There are even some that like to role play it with their male cousins (whom they somehow have to bribe into it), or with their other girlfriends.

I must admit that I was one of those. When I was a small girl, that was one of my favorite games. I seldom convinced my brothers or male cousins to play with me. And the few times they did play, they made a mess of it.

So, I would play with my friends. There was one friend of mine whom also dreamt with getting married someday. We’d take turns being the bride and the groom, and we’d have one of our imaginary friends be the priest. We’d play it so often than my mother started to get a bit worried. She tried to stop it for a bit, but it was useless. Fortunately, my aunt spoke to her and reminded her of how she dreamt about her wedding when she was a child.

I grew up, and had several boyfriends before I met the man I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. We eventually got engaged and I started planning my wedding. Much like my brothers and male cousins during my childhood, my fiancé didn’t seem to have a lot of interest in the wedding, which didn’t upset me at all. On the contrary, it left me free to have the wedding I wanted (as long as I didn’t spend beyond our agreed budget, which I did).

One of the most controversial things about the wedding was the pink and brown wedding invitations that I chose. My friends disapproved of them, and even my husband commented about it. Well, I didn’t care, I had always dreamt of pink and brown wedding invitations, and I was going to have pink and brown wedding invitations. My husband was easy to convince and I just told my friends and my mother that it wasn’t for them to decide.

I spent a week working on the model and style of the pink and brown wedding invitations. I did it all by myself as I didn’t want any criticism. I hesitated a bit when the moment to mail my pink and brown wedding invitations came. But fortunately, my husband said he loved them.

The pink and brown wedding invitations turned out to be a great hit. Everyone loved them. I was specially proud when I visited my friends’ houses after the wedding and saw my pink and brown wedding invitations on display on a cage or as part of a decoration.

The only thing I regret is not saving some pink and brown wedding invitations for myself.
